What is TheMugTheory?

A design-led multi-utility gifting company. The mug is our design language, not our category ceiling — every object in the range is built around three uses: drink or hold, savor, and keep.

Is this a drinkware brand?

No. Drinkware is where our design language originates and where the launch range currently sits, but the range is built to expand into gifting and décor objects that share the same design language.

The Diya Set

Can the Diya Set be used for food or drink?

No. The Diya Set is a candle and diya product only, not drinkware. It has a cow-dung composite outer shell with a removable, refillable glass insert. There is no contact between the composite shell and any food or beverage.

Materials & quality

What materials do you use?

Ceramic for our drinkware pieces, chosen for durability and how it ages with use. The Diya Set uses a cow-dung composite shell — an agri-waste material route with national precedent in KVIC's BIS-certified Khadi Prakritik Paint.
